We were in Palm Springs for the special preview screening of American Bear and met a ton of Kind Strangers on the way! Here is what they had to say:

We had two incredible screenings in Palm Springs, and received some really beautiful feedback -- it's thrilling and humbling to discover that this film, now finally at the finish line, has the power to fill someone's heart the way we always hoped it could. We were so grateful for the support of the festival and the people who came to check out the film, and reinvigorated by the amazing response! It was also fascinating to learn about which people in the film were most meaningful to people in the audience, and which themes connect with people most profoundly -- it seems like there really is something for everyone, and the conversations that creates are really remarkable.

Not to mention that there's nothing quite like seeing your own face fill up a huge theater screen!

Recently American Bear visited fifth graders to speak with them about the American Bear mission and kindness to strangers. Here is what they had to say!

Sarah and Greg are headed to NYC this weekend to work on the final sound mix for American Bear!

It's been such a long but fulfilling process and it's so crazy how far we've come. With the film picture-locked and only the finishing touches left, we are incredibly close to having the final version of the film ready to go! We have gone through so much throughout the editing process and we finally feel as though we are doing justice to the amazing stories you all have inspired.

Thank you so much for your amazing support so far. It is so motivating for us to experience how American Bear has gone from a social experiment to what can only be adequately described as a small movement that continues to inspire acts of kindness across the country. We have seen American Bear evolve to represent a connectedness to the amazing people across the country promoting kindness and a selfless way of thinking about how we belong and the spaces we fill in society. And it's all because of you.

After the sound mix is complete, we will begin a new phase in the American Bear movement, with so many exciting opportunities for us on the horizon. We ask for your continued support because this next phase needs you just as much as the previous phase did. We hope that you will enjoy continuing on this journey with us!
